Amazon and Cisco to Team up for a New Hybrid Cloud Technology

Cisco and Amazon Web Services announced on November 8, that the two companies are teaming up for creating a new revolutionary product that enables developers to build and develop applications in conventional data centers or in cloud and at the same simplifying the transition between the two. Cisco has taken been focused on creating hybrid alternatives for the consumers who wish to take their work to the cloud platform while executing few projects on their personal hardware systems that to avoid security risks and abide by the regulations.

The company aims to work around the latest trend of companies where the developers can utilize modern day technology for accessing and using code between multiple systems. Amazon plays a key role here, where the company offers a service for the deployment of containers in data center servers, while Cisco has built software which works on the company managed servers. Officials at Cisco stated that containers are the new way in which current day applications are built.

Although Cisco is a powerful entity in the conventional data centers, the growing prevalence of the cloud is making it hard for data center companies such as Cisco to grow in these markets. By providing commercial support for the technology, known as the Cisco Hybrid Solution for Kubernetes on Amazon Web Services. Cisco has also previously unveiled the partnership with Microsoft and Google, the two key cloud providing companies followed by Amazon which is the leading cloud framework provider in the market.
